No India-Pak Cricket Series Until Then: Sushma

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj made it clear there is no possibility of bilateral series between India and Pakistan until the neighboring nation stops cross-border terrorism. She informed this to Parliament's consultative committee on external affairs while responding to a question over the chances of India-Pakistan cricket series at neutral venue. The Minister maintained Terrorism and Cricket can't go hand-in-hand.

In the meeting with agenda 'Relationship with Neighbourhood', Sushma Swaraj claimed to have placed the proposal of both the nations releasing Prisoners aged 70-plus or Women or those with unsound mind on humanitarian grounds when she met Pakistan's envoy to India.

Maldives-China Free Trade Agreement & its impact on India came up for discussion during the meeting. Sushma assured relations between India and Maldives continue to remain close and they were extending defence cooperation.
