If the latest buzz in Film Nagar is true by any chance, Telugu Film Industry has decided not to offer film-related content to News Channels any more. Which means, Telugu News Channels won't have access to the Audio Launches/Pre-Release Events/Success Meets, Promos, Interviews of Film Celebs.
As per the reports, Producers Council took this sensational decision during a recent meeting. The meeting was attended by Allu Aravind, D Suresh Babu and Dil Raju who are in a commanding position.
Does that mean only Entertainment Channels such as Star Maa, Gemini TV and ETV will be provided with film-related content? There is still no official announcement or condemnation from the Industry so far.
If this rule is implemented, News Channels will end up losing a major chunk of revenue. Should these Media Houses pay the price for projecting the Industry in a poor light while handling the casting couch issue?
