But, the Left parties were nowhere to be seen in providing relief to the affected people.
As a result, in the recent GHMC elections, the Communits fought from just 11 seats and could not win any. The recruitment into the party too has completely stopped. At this rate, the people might forget us in another five years, quipped a Communist veteran.
