YS Sharmila lodged a complaint with Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Monday against the social media campaign linking her to Actor Prabhas. She sought stringent action against those spreading baseless rumours to tarnish her image.
Addressing the media, Sharmila complained that the malicious campaign which began 5 years ago has been kickstarted again. 'Not even once did I met Prabhas. Didn't even spoke to him at least once so far. There was never any relation between us...I swear on my children,' she clarified.
Sharmila suspects the role of Telugu Desam Party behind the bad propaganda. She alleged, 'It was Chandrababu Naidu who branded My Father late YSR as factionist and My Brother Jagan as arrogant. And now, He could be behind My Character Assassination as 2019 Elections aren't far away. I challenge those who are behind it to show any evidences and swear on their children'.
