No Solution For RTC Strike In The High Court

Update: 2019-11-18 15:59 GMT
People of Telugu States who has been facing hardships since the past one-and-a-half month because of TSRTC Strike only wished to see the Telangana High Court resolve the issue. Much to their disappointment, No clear directions were given by the High Court either for TRS Government or TSRTC.

During Today's hearing, Advocate General reiterated that TSRTC Strike is illegal. Whereas, The Counsel representing RTC Unions sought a clear direction to the State Government on the demands placed by them. Upon completion of the arguments of both the parties, High Court made it clear it can't issue any orders to the Telangana Government in this matter. In addition, It referred the matter to the Labour Court and a Two Weeks deadline was given to the Labour Commissioner to resolve the issue.

Undoubtedly, TRS Government will consider Today's developments as a huge victory. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao might proceed with his decision of RTC Privatisation in 5,100 routes. Many of the RTC Employees could now wish to see KCR offer fresh deadline for them to call off the strike.

What will be the next move of RTC JAC Convenor Ashwathama Reddy who is spearheading the strike? Are the RTC Unions willing to take part in the talks with State Government at least now? Wait & See!
