NTR Statue removed to end Controversy

As part of the arrangements for Krishna Pushkarams, TDP Government has taken up road widening works in Vijayawada. Statues of several prominent personalities placed on either sides of National Highways have been removed.

Recently, A statue of TDP Founder late NT Rama Rao has been erected at the Museum Centre local leaders without obtaining necessary permissions. YCP Leaders launched a protest accusing TDP Government of double standards and lodged a complaint with local police over the issue. They questioned, 'Why YSR Statues alone were removes citing rules? Why not NTR Statues?'.

R&B, Revenue Officials removed the NTR statue on Wednesday midnight to send a strong message to the Leaders who hardly bother about the rules to be followed. With these measures, Government has succeeded in putting an end to the controversy.
