US President Barack Obama advised his teenage daughter Malia to have an open mind to have new experiences when she goes to college instead of repeating the same she had in her schooling days.
Speaking at a Town Hall on college access and affordability, Obama revealed: "The advise I had given to my daughter....To be open to new experiences and not to duplicate the same experience she had in high school".
Obama asked his Daughter not to blindly follow what her group of friends have been doing. Instead, He encouraged her to push herself out of the comfort level, meet new people and try to learn different things she hasn't experienced before. He also told the young girl not to stress too much about getting placement in one particular college or university as even non-fancy/branded/famous educational institutions offer great education. The Proud Father claims Maria is a hard-worker and always achieved good grades.
