Khalid Mohsen Al-Shaeri, an obese Saudi Arabian man, weighing 610 kgs has undergone treatment up on the order from Saudi King Abdulla and successfully cut down the extra flab to the tune of 320 kgs. He is now weighing 290 kgs and loosing 320 kgs in the short span is a record.
Until August last year, Khalid used to sleep on 3 beds and now he is able to sleep on just one. In the first three months, he lost 150 kgs. Later, Doctors performed a surgery and to make him lose 170 kgs more.
The medical team informed Khalid's heart and lungs are functioning properly. He is now in a position to move his legs. A custom-made wheelchair has been manufactured for him and it is also the largest medical chair in the World. About 21 doctors, 15 nurses and his mother are taking care of Khalid in the hospital.
