The lockdown imposed across India has enabled the authorities to figure out the areas and districts that were infected by the virus and to differentiate the districts that did not report single cases to date.
As per the official data, 325 districts out of 736 districts in India did not report a single COVID-19 case. What's even more shocking is that around 46% of the total cases were reported from 18 districts only.
This data enables the governments to ease the lockdown measures in these areas going by the level of the spread of the virus.
Looking at the districts with the most poistive COVID-19 cases states wise, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana states have one district each.
More than 17,000 positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in India claiming 543 deaths. While 2,547 have recovered from the virus, 14,175 were declared as active cases and being treated.
