Oldest Living Person in the World turns 116

Jeralean Talley, the oldest living person in the world, has celebrated his 116 birthday Yesterday. She was born in Georgia on May 23rd, 1899.

Talley was named the oldest living person in the world after Gertrude Weaver (116) died in April. This American Woman now lives in Michigan.

On her 116th Birthday, Talley received a special message from US President Barack Obama wishing her many more years of good health.

Jeralean Talley's Husband of 52 Years (Alfred) died in the year 1988 when she was 95-Year-Old. She has lived an active life but had been fighting age related issues off late. She has a hard time hearing and naps throughout the day.
