BJP leader and Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa who addressed the party-state executive meeting said that the government will put an end to the practice of Love Jihad., reports claimed.
He added that many young girls in the state were being lured to change their belief on the pretext of love. He called the practice evil and said all the required steps will be taken to stop this.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh are considering passing a law to restrict the Love Jihad practice.
