Only 50% Targets achieved by AP Govt

As per Key Performance Indicators (KPI), AP Government managed to achieve only around 50 percent of its targets in the first quarter of financial year 2016-17.

Departments of State Government were set targets on 261 Key Performance Indicators including Governance, Revenue, Infrastructure, Urban Development, Industries and Social Empowerment. While the performance was slightly above 50 percent in 77 indicators, It is below the half-way mark in as many as 58 indicators. This data was unveiled during the 2-day Collector's Conference in Vijayawada.

Some of the poorly performing indicators:

Coaching for BC Students (11.42 percent)

Financial Assistance for Marriage of Girls in Minority Community (17.87 percent)

Resource Mobilisation for Gram Panchayats (26 percent)

Economic Assistance to Tribal Students (28 percent)

Incentives for Inter-Caste Marriages (32.58 percent)  


Some of the better performing indicators:

Excise Department (75 percent)

Stamps and Registration Department (61 percent)
