Outrage over Star Hero's distasteful acts

Update: 2013-01-03 04:57 GMT
South Indian Film Fraternity and the film buffs here have been expressing extremely strong reaction of anger against Shahrukh Khan for making a mockery of Southern Films once again.

Earlier, Shahrukh imitated the masala entertainers made down South quite a few times to generate humour. This time, it was exaggerated a bit too much! The discussion is regarding the first look posters of SRK's upcoming flick 'Chennai Express'. The posters were full of over the top elements like the baddies flying the air, cars turning upside down and the lungi-clad lead pair with the bare-body goons in the background appears like the makers have intended to poke fun at Southern stars and the films made here.

Chennai Express is the story of a man who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey. Every time when Bollywood stars pick up scripts with Southern states as backdrop, such ill-treatment is likely to happen and if a Superstar like Shahrukh attempts such thing, it gives an impression to audience all over the world that South Films are just stereotypical, over-the-top and masala entertainers.

As some serious objections were raised against the posters of Chennai Express now, how the makers would respond to them is to be seen. Demean any individual or the culture is never acceptable!
