National Security Advisor Ajit Doval informed the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) chaired by PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday that as many as 100 terrorists were planning to cross the Line of Control (LoC) only to launch attacks in India.
CCS was informed that Pakistan has been protesting its launch pads near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir after Indian Army damaged seven of them during surgical strikes. This is for the second time CCS meeting took place after September 29th surgical strikes.
Intelligence Agencies believe large number of Terrorists might infiltrate into the Indian territory using the huge snow fall at the border.
