Oxford University appoints First Female V-C

Oxford University gets its first female Vice Chancellor at last. Professor Louise Richardson, a Terrorism expert, is going to act as the chief of the prestigious institution from now. This is for the first time ever since it began its operations in 1230, A Woman got nominated for the Top Post.

Louise Richardson offered her services at Harvard University earlier. She is currently the vice chancellor of St Andrews University, Scotland.

Notably, Louise command a great respect from everyone for being a great scholar. She will take charge as Oxford University Vice Chancellor from January 1st, 2016. Impressed with her track record and her great vision, Oxford had offered her a 7-year contract.

Louise, a mother of three children, claimed it's a privilege to lead one of World's great University, Oxford.
