Former Cricketer Lost His Life To COVID

The novel coronavirus which has spread to more than 200 nations across the world has now struct the Cricketing world resulting in the death of the former cricketer.

Going into detail, former Pakistani cricketer Zafar Sarfaraz who plays first-class cricket breathed his last breath battling the dreaded virus who was been on a ventilator for the last three days. This makes him the first cricketer to lost life to the COVID virus.
 
His brother Pakistan international player Akhtar Sarfraz lost his life-fighting cancer 10 months back. Around 100 people have died due to the COVID pandemic in Pakistan.

Peshawar, a city in the north of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has 744 of the nearly 5500 active cases in the country. The former cricketer who lost his life made his debut in 1988.
