Update: 2018-03-15 11:16 GMT
As per United Nations 2018 World Happiness Report (WHR), India ranked 133 out of 156 countries that were surveyed. That's a drop of 11 places compared to the statistics in 2017 and 15 places behind the rank obtained in 2016.

The ranking of Happiness Index are based on per capita income, earthy life expectancy, social support & freedom, corruption levels and generosity. India stood below par in freedom-to-make-life choices and generosity.

WHR 2018 says, More number of indians are keen to migrate to other nations, particularly to Gulf. Even the count of Indians is on a rise in Latin America.
