'Palem’ bus accident repeats in MP

Another fatal bus accident took place today evening at Madhya Pradesh.On Monday May 4 evening a bus in blaze fell off the culvert killing more than 50 passengers. The bus skidded off a small bridge, fell into a nullah and caught fire.

The bus is travelling from Panna to Chhatarpur Madhyapradesh with 50 passengers. The diesel tank exploded setting the bus on fire. The damage of the accident is not made clear but.

Prime minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolence over social networking site Twitter.He said on Twitter that the news of the mishap is extremely saddening.

"News of bus accident in Panna, MP is extremely saddening. Condolences to families of the deceased. I wish the injured a speedy recovery: PM" he tweeted

Madhya Pradesh government has announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh each to the next to the kin of dead, Rs 50 ,000 each to seriously injured and Rs 25,000 to the injured.

The accident reminds 2013 Mahabubnagar bus accident occurred on 30 October when a private Volvo bus on the way from Bangalore to Hyderabad caught fire after hitting a culvert while overtaking a car, killing 45 people and injuring another 7. The accident took place at Palem village, Mahbubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh at 5.30 AM.
