Thummala's Rival Meets KTR, Joining TRS!

TRS Leadership is focusing on how to strengthen the party in Khammam District where it faced a major setback in 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls. While TRS hawa was evident in all the other districts, Congress and TDP managed to win most seats in Khammam. That is why TRS has been encouraging defections in this part of the state ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

Already, Illandu MLA Haripriya, Pinapaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao and TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah announced their plans to join the Ruling Party. Now, One more Congress MLA from Khammam District got ready to shift loyalties.

Paleru MLA Kandala Upendar Reddy met TRS Working President KTR Today and announced his decision to join the Ruling Party.

In the recent Assembly Polls, Kandala defeated TRS Candidate Tummala Nageswara Rao in Paleru by a margin of 1,950 votes. What would be the reaction of the Former Minister on the latest development?
