PAN Card goes invalid if not linked to Aadhaar

After Demonetisation, Centre has announced the next move for curb Black Money and encourage Digital Payments in the Country. Permanent Account Number (PAN) goes invalid of it wasn't linked with Aadhaar by December 31st, 2017.

As of March 15th this year, There are over 112 crore Aadhaar Card Holders in India. There is a possibility of stopping the Aadhaar enrollment process by this year end.

Income Tax Department announced Mobile App for paying taxes and tracking of refunds. Even PAN will be issued on real time basis within the help of Aadhaar's biometric facility e-KYC.

Linking of PAN with Aadhaar guarantees transparency. This could be a big game changer and fetches more revenue for Governments in the form of taxes.
