Pandemic Cases Continue To Surge In Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh which is the third worst-affected state in the country continues to fear the novel Coronavirus as the total infections pass surged the 3.61 lakh-mark with the fresh addition of cases.

In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 8,601 fresh Coronavirus which takes the total toll of the cases to 3,61,712. The other day, AP surpassed the 3.5 lakh- mark.

As per the information provided by the health bulletin, a total of 54,463 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, and 8,601 people were found infected. As of now, 32,92,501 samples have been tested.

In the past 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported 86 fresh casualties and the total fatalities in connection with the novel Coronavirus zoomed to 3,368.

A total of 2,68,828 patients have been recovered from the Coronavirus in the state including 8,741 fresh recoveries reported in the last 24 hours. The state has 89,516 active cases.

East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region in the state with the coronavirus outbreak as the district added 1441 fresh cases out of 8,601 reported in a single day.

The region alone has  50,686 Coronavirus positive cases making it the hotspot for the virus, followed by Kurnool(39,319), Anantapur(35726), Guntur(30859) and Chittoor(30325).
