Eluru YSRCP MP Contacts Covid-19 Virus

The novel Coronavirus, dubbed as Covid-19 is getting deeper and deeper into Andhra Pradesh. Even the front line warriors, public representatives, and lawmakers are not spared.

Adding more fears about the virus spread, YSRCP leader and MP Kotagiri Sridhar who represents the Eluru constituency have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Subsequently, he went into home-isolation at his residence in Hyderabad. He urged people who might have come in contact with him to get themselves tested as a safety measure.

Today morning, YSRCP Tirupati MLA is believed to have got infected with the virus for the second time, the first of its kind in the state so far. Currently, he is under home-isolation.

Andhra Pradesh witnessed 5,120 fresh infections on Wednesday taking the total toll in the state to  7,34,427. While 6,78,828 patients have been recovered from the virus, the active cases stood at 49,513. So far 6,086 patients lost their lives to the virus in the state.
