Diwali Celebrations: Hyd City Commissioner Imposes New Rules Over Crackers Usage
As the Deepawali festival is fast approaching, the Hyderabad Police has come up with new rules and regulations on bursting crackers in the city. The festival falls on November 14.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar addressed the media to share the news on new rules on crackers bursting. A particular time slot has been dedicated to celebrations.
According to the information, the Police Commissioner said that crackers should be burst between Night 8 to 10 on the day of the festival in the wake of the given circumstances.
However, not all crackers can be used in the festival celebrations. The crackers that emit less sound should only be used. Strict action will be taken against the rule violators.
This decision came in the wake of experts claiming that air pollution makes the public more vulnerable to the ongoing Coroanvirsu pandemic. The National capital Delhi is an example of the situation.
