Indore-Patna Express derails: 45 Killed & 150 Injured!

At least 45 people were killed and 150 others suffered injuries after India-Patna express train derailed on Sunday. The incident took place at 3 AM near Pukhrayan in Kanpur Dehat district.

About 14 coaches of India-Patna express derailed. While the S2 Coach was badly damaged, Even four AC Coaches have also gone out of shape.

Railway Ministry spokesperson Anil Saxena hints casualties might go up. He says rescue operations were are war-footing and injured have been rushed to the nearby hospitals. Trains & Buses were arranged to take the rest of the passengers to their destinations.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said people responsible for the tragedy will be punished severely. The exact reason for the train mishap isn't yet known.
