Pawan Kalyan Meets Chandrababu: Janasena To Get 32 Seats?

Update: 2023-01-08 09:29 GMT
Things are going on as expected in Andhra Pradesh politics. It is appearing that the alliance episode might get sorted at the earliest. Reports are abuzz that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are showing interest to walk together as they did for the 2014 polls. Now it appears that the reports might turn into reality. All of a sudden Pawan Kalyan went to Chandrababu Naidu's house for a key meeting.

The political experts are seeing the meeting between Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu as the continuation of the Vijayawada Novatel Hotel meeting. This might clear many things and the friendship might get strong. The developments hint that the reports might turn into reality. Though the meeting was not that surprising the media attention is on the meeting as it can impact the politics in the state.

The meeting created a big space for the mainstream media and social media to start a debate and discussion on what might have come during the meeting between the two. But one thing is clear here. Both parties will go for an alliance and might share the seats.

Political observers say that the meeting might be for the upcoming general elections. Looking at the meeting from this point of view the observers say that a serious discussion might have happened on the seat sharing for the polls.

It is said that the seat-sharing issue is yet to get concluded and both parties are having some ideas on this. Janasena reportedly wants 50 seats for the upcoming polls and hopes that it can hold good control in the government if it can win at least 30 seats.

On the other hand, TDP is reportedly not ready to give 50 seats to Janasena. Even in combined seats, TDP did not give these many seats to ally parties. The highest seats TDP gave in combined seats was less than 25 seats. So it is double the number it gave earlier. TDP is feeling that giving these many seats might not give a good message and might start a civil war within the party.

TDP is also thinking about whether YSRCP can win the elections in these seats and also fearing that these seats might benefit the YCP if Janasena cannot win. It is said that Pawan Kalyan went to meet Chandrababu Naidu to get the seat-sharing issue sorted. TDP wants to settle the matter between 15 to 25 seats.

As Pawan Kalyan is demanding 50 seats, TDP is said to be in the plan to give 32 seats to settle the matter. The recent meeting might play a big role in getting a positive outcome. If things go as planned we might get a clear stand between the parties. It is said that Pawan and Chandrababu might have sat together to discuss seat sharing. The first Sunday of the New Year saw a development that can change the political picture in the state.
