Just alike his Brother Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan is likely to contest Assembly Elections from two constituencies. Gajuwaka in Visakha District has been finalised already. And now, Jana Sena Leadership is busy identifying one of the segments in Godavari District. The second constituency could be either Eluru in West Godavari or Pithapuram in East Godavari.
Jana Sena Leaders believe this is a strategic move to ensure the party performs well in the districts where it has got solid fan base. The plan is to influence the voters in Uttar Andhra and Godavari Districts by making Pawan contest from two segments. Jana Sena is focusing more on these five Districts in the 2019 Elections.
People who disagree with the theory of Jana Sena say, 'Better if Pawan contests from one constituency and offer the other seat for a newbie. Even if he wins both the seats, Pawan will have to resign one of the them and that leads to by-election. Contesting from one constituency is more than enough as nobody have any doubts on his winning chances'.
In 2009 Elections, Chiranjeevi contested from both Palakollu and Tirupathi. While Megastar faced defeat at his native place, Emerged victorious in the temple town.
