Update: 2015-04-27 16:23 GMT
Former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar demanded BCCI to pay him Rs 1.90 crore as remuneration for rendering his services as President of BCCI-IPL during the 7th Edition of the T20 league held last year in India & UAE.

Supreme Court appointed Sunil Gavaskar as President BCCI-IPL in place of N Srinivasan who was under scanner for altering norms to serve as BCCI President & Own an IPL Franchise at the same time. The Apex Court also directed the BCCI to pay Gavaskar adequate salary during the period as he has to sacrifice his earning from commentary and writing columns during this period.

Sources close to the Board say, BCCI's Finance Committee will take a call on the compensation Sunil Gavaskar has to receive for offering his services. The amount this Legendary Cricketer would get could be exactly what he demanded or less based on the recommendations of the committee.
