The Pegasus spyware had shaken the whole country at once. The way journalists, politicians, and others reportedly being the victims of the spyware had made many heads turn. The sensational issue which had reached the Supreme Court is still pending with the Apex Court.

The much-talked-about controversy found itself in the middle of the news with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleging that spyware was offered to her, however, she said no to the offer and declined it immediately.

As if it was not enough, Mamata Banerjee aka Didi leveled a shocking claim that former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu bought the Pegasus spyware. Mamata's comments had sent shocking waves across Andhra Pradesh with ruling YCP and TDP locking horns with each other.

The grand old Telugu Desam Party, which is in the opposition status now had rubbished all the allegations and made it clear that their party did not buy any spyware. Not stopping there, the TDP leaders and cadre are alleging that Mamata might have received false information.

Senior leader and former Minister Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu took things into his own hands and reacted to the issue. The Telugu Desam Party leader had quoted Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh Damodar Gautam Sawang as saying that the previous government did not buy any such spyware.

Sharing the copy of an RTI query and the reply given by Gautam Sawang, Ayyanna Patrudu said that the previous DGP made it clear that no purchase of the spyware happened in Andhra Pradesh.

Mentioning the date when the RTI application was filed by one Nagendra Prasad who hails from Kurnool, Ayyanna Patrudu said that it is the god's script that Jagan himself revealed that everything he and his media do is false propaganda, he said in another tweet.

The likes of Nara Lokesh, Btech Ravi, and others have rubbished the allegations. The TDP leaders dared the current government to provide the details of the spyware if they feel that they have bought the spyware. You have power in hand. If you want, you can reveal the details, Nara Lokesh said.
