Botched Up Flood Relief Comes Back To Haunt TRS

Update: 2020-11-24 10:30 GMT
Is the botched up flood relief distribution coming back to haunt the ruling TRS in the twin cities? Sources in the TRS believe that yes it is.  In many places, the people are questioning the TRS workers about the faulty relief distribution. Unable to reply, the TRS leaders are beating a hasty retreat in some places.

For instance, the TRS workers, who campaigned in Upparpally and Yadavreddy Nagar in Rajendranagar division, had to return without campaign as the voters told them point blank that they would not vote for the TRS as it did not give them relief amount. The matter was taken to the notice of the TRS local MLA Prakash Goud at an internal review meeting held in the MLA's camp office.  Similarly in the Himayathnagar division, the people blocked the convoy of the TRS candidate in Farid Basti area. The people began shouting slogans against the TRS.

The TRS is finding that similar situation exists in most divisions. The party has reportedly asked the local MLAs to assure the voters that he would take care of the relief amount and would pay from his pocket if the governemtn cannot pay.
