A single engine aircraft crashed on one of the busiest highways in Atlanta interstate shortly after takeoff, killing all four people on board. According to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the single-engine plane crashed soon after takeoff from DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in the city of Chamblee, Atlanta. The four on board were headed to the University of Mississippi for graduation ceremonies.
The single-engine Piper PA-32 passed in front of motorist and crashed. A motorist who said he witnessed the crash said it was flying low and when it crashed a fireball erupted.
"Hey, we're going down," the pilot told the control tower just before the crash. Surprisngly No one on the ground was injured ."It's a miracle, literally a miracle, that no cars were hit," County Fire Captain Eric said.
