Andhra Pradesh financial and planning departments sent initial requirements plan to union government. In which Andhra Pradesh asked 1,20,013 crores from union government for building new capital. Constructing electricity lines - 12000 crores
The remaining money is used for various other development activities. But it's a question that will Union government will full fill AP demand with out any change?. As of now any Union government has provided only 500 crores as part of financial assistance for newly formed state. Will it changes its tradition for Andhra Pradesh?. As already state facing huge financial crisis due to low revenues , if Union government fails to provide the demanded assistance it's pretty sure AP will go into debt for long term ruining its development hopes.
