Please Shift her : Ex PM Suggests

Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda suggested that AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa to be shifted from Karnataka to Tamilnadu. Currently she is lodged at Parappana Agrahara prison here after being convicted in an illegal assets case.

Speaking to media he said that Jaya should be shifted to Tamil Nadu as it was a burden for the state to manage the large number of protestors and also maintain law and order. He said: "I only appeal to the state government...Let the former chief minister  be transferred to Tamil Nadu," . Deve Gowda remarks given a blow in Karnataka politics. Sources expressed even CM Sadananda gowda also in positive  mood on this suggestion.

A special CBI court in Bangalore convicted Jayalalithaa and sentenced her to four years in prison. In addition to that it imposed a Rs 100 crore fine on her.  Jaya lawyers approached court for the bail which set for hearing on 7th of this month.
