Covid-19 vaccination In India: PM Modi Heap Praise on scientists And Technicians
With the Drugs Controller General of India(DCGI) giving its nod for the emergency use of two vaccines, now all the eyes are on when the vaccination drive will be started.
In this backdrop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the vaccination drive against the ongoing pandemic and said the program will be started in the country very soon.
Addressing the crowd virtually at the inauguration of the National Atomic Timescale and Bhartiya Nirdeshak Dravya at the National Metrology Conclave, Narendra Modi said the drive will kick-start soon.
He showered praises on the scientists and technicians for the efforts in bringing out the Made in India vaccines and said, the country is proud of the scientists and technicians.
Narendra Modi termed the vaccination program as the biggest Covid-19 vaccination programme in the world. To develop the vaccine, the scientific institutions, and the scientists and technicians have worked day and night.
India is one of the top 50 countries in the list of global innovation rankings. He also lauded the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and the other institutions which joined hands in this regard.
Referring to the 'Make in India' campaign, Narendra Modi said, we should work towards binging global acceptance for the 'Make in India' products. The brand of India should be strengthened.
