PM Modi remains the most popular choice

According to India Today Group-Karvy insights Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey. 53 per cent voted PM Modi as the next Prime Minister and the second choice is Rahul Gandhi. There is a 40 per cent gap between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi in the Prime Minister stake. Only 13 per cent of them said that Rahul Gandhi is suitable to lead the country.

Seven per cent of them voted in favour of Sonia Gandhi and four per cent voted in favour of Amit Shah. In this survey, interesting facts revealed out, only 60 per cent of Hindus and 17 per cent of Muslims voted in favour of Narendra Modi. Only 10 per cent of Hindus and 32 per cent of Muslims voted in favour of Rahul Gandhi.

Union Minister Nithin Gadkari, Congress leader P Chidambaram,Samajwadi chief Akhilesh Yadav, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BSP Chief Mayawati are some of the leaders named in the preferences.  The survey was conducted across 97 parliamentary constituencies and 194 assembly constituencies in 19 states.
