PMO Addresses The Complaint on huge prices Charged By Hospital For Pandemic Treatment

The Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the issue of the high prices charged by a private hospital to offer treatment for the pandemic patients in Andhra Pradesh.

The Prime Minister's Office(PMO) issued directives to the State officer Janardhan to look into the issue. Upon a sudden inspection, the authorities have sealed the COVID hospital

Going into detail, a victim who goes by the name Vamshi Krishna has sent a letter to the PMO stating that Murali Krishna Hospital in Eluru is charging huge amounts as fees to offer treatment.

In the letter, the victim maintained that the hospital authorities are charging between Rs 4 lakhs to Rs 14 lakhs and despite the heavy amount charged by the hospital, 13 patients lost their lives as they didn’t receive the required treatment.

The authorities who searched the hospital have found out that without having proper permissions the hospital is offering treatment and the hospital is charging Rs 1 lakh per day and sealed the hospital accordingly.
