Police arrests Bhuma Naggi Reddy

The police registered a case against YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagireddy and shifted him to the Three Town Police on Friday.Tension prevailed in the Nandyal town on Friday following the arrest of Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagireddy. He was accused of assaulting the police and cases were slapped under sections of 353 and 506 of the IPC. According to the sources, Kurnool MLA and Nagi Reddys daughter Akhila Priya was yelled at by the police officials present at the MLC polling booth in Nandyal.
 
As per reports Bhooma Akhila Priya was waiting for her father at the booth to cast her vote and Nandyal DSP who was standing there instructed Priya to make a move from there. DSP hurried her to cast her vote and this has irked Bhuma and he took on the police in his style. Finally a case is booked against him and arrested. He also faced charges under SC, ST Atrocities (prevention) Act.
 
YSRCP MLAs strongly decried the police action and said that cases were foisted on Bhuma for opposing TDP machinations.
