Police Clears the Air on Anantapur Baby's Death Issue!

Update: 2022-04-17 05:22 GMT
The news of the newly-sworn-in Minister's procession in Andhra Pradesh reportedly leading to the death of the baby had made rounds on various outlets and social media too. Many people have raised their voices and concerns about the issue asking how a Cabinet Minister can do such things.

But the issue took a sudden twist after the Anantapur Police said that there is no truth in the news that the vehicle carrying the baby was stopped by the cops to make way for the Minister's convoy.

Speaking to the media, the cops said that fake and false news about the vehicle allegedly stopped by the cops is being spread on social media and urged everyone to not believe such news.

Anantapur Superintendent of Police Fakkeerappa Kaginelli held a press meet to clear the air on the issue. Rubbishing the reports, he said that the barricades were set up indeed but two-wheelers were not stopped by the cops when the Minister's convoy was going in the region.

The SP had shown the CCTV footage along with the GPS signal of a person who took the baby to the hospital. The person happens to be the maternal uncle of the baby. Having said that, the SP even said that Cops helped the person reach the designated hospital by showing him the fastest route.

For the past few days, Telugu Desam Party leaders including party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh have been attacking the government on the alleged issue. They blamed the government over the issue and asked why the government did not take any action against Minister Usha Sri Charan.

Now the issue created by the opposition leaders has been cleared and this shows how low they can stoop to get a political image and mileage. If the issue was not cleared then the opposition leaders would have been taking forward the false news.

Usha Sricharan is one of the members of the new cabinet that was formed recently. She was given the Women and Child Welfare portfolio in Cabinet 2.0. She was in the news for the alleged news.
