Former Congress MP Ramya made headlines for all the wrong reasons once again. A video clip of the Kannada Actress encouraging party activists to create multiple/fake accounts has gone viral. She made those comments during an interactive session with Congress Social Media wing Workers.
When a worker questioned whether or not creation of fake accounts is wrong, Ramya didn't hesitate to say she have 2-3 accounts and there is nothing to find fault. She even directed the party activists to take inspiration from her to have an upper hand over BJP on social media.
Karnataka BJP Leaders moved a complaint before Bengaluru Cyber Crime Police seeking action against Ramya for encouraging people to create fake accounts and retweet Rahul Gandhi's tweets. BJP alleges posts of Congress President have been mostly retweeted by Russians, Indonesians, kazakhstanis and Afghanistanis in the recent past. BJP Netas demand Cops to ensure Twitter conducts an auditing to wipe out fake accounts. They complain Ramya have as many as 50 fake Facebook profiles.
Is linking Aadhaar with Social Media Accounts the only way to put an end to multiple or fake profiles? May be, That's not far away!
