In May this year, YSR Congress Leader Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy was brutally murdered while he was returning to his village after attending a marriage. He was the Coordinator of YCP for Pathikonda Assembly Constituency.
Pathikonda MLA & Deputy CM KE Krishna Murthy and his brother KE Prabhakar faced allegations after this murder. Particularly, KE Krishna Murthy's Son KE Shyam Babu was accused of plotting the murder. Why because, Narayana Reddy moved High Court against illegal sand mining of KE Shyam Babu. Following which, HC passed an order preventing sand mining.
Investigation of this sensational murder case has been happening at a snail pace because it's a case related to Deputy CM's family members. Although 100 Days have passed, Cops haven't questioned KE Shyam Babu till date. Whereabouts of Shyam Babu aren't known to them is the lame excuse they offer. Kin of the deceased have been appealing Police Department to do justice to them without succumbing to the political pressures.
