Political Crisis in Madhya Pradesh?

Update: 2020-03-10 06:24 GMT
In what it could be a shocker to the political circles it has been reported that the annoyed Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia might meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and there is a chance of him to quit the Congress party and join the saffron party.

This latest development came after reports emerging that around 20 MLAs were ready to quit the Congress party and join the BJP to topple the 15-month-old Kamal Nath government.

If this speculation appears to be true, Madhya Pradesh will be the second state where the government will fall after the fall-out of the Congress-JDS government in Karnataka last year.

"We tried to contact Scindiaji (Jyotiraditya Scindia) but it is being said that he has swine flu, so haven't been able to speak to him, "Congress leader Karan Singh said.

Congress Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the crisis. "I am hopeful the current crisis in MP ends soon and leaders are able to resolve differences," read his Tweet.

Talking about the political crisis in M P, Vishvas Sarang, Madhya Pradesh BJP leader said: "There is no Operation Lotus. But there is no problem if Holi and Diwali are celebrated together. We will happy to have Scindia in our party."
