Poll Code Can't Stop TRS Cabinet Expansion

Update: 2019-01-04 16:43 GMT
TRS Cabinet expansion is likely to happen much before than anybody has anticipated. Why because, Election Commission has issued a clarification that Model Code of Conduct isn't applicable to the cabinet expansion. This clarity was offered in the wake of reports that KCR won't be able to set up full-fledged cabinet till February due to the enforcement of model code of conduct for upcoming Panchayat Polls.

KCR and his Deputy Mahmood Ali took part in the swearing-in ceremony on December 13th itself. KCR told media that he would expand the cabinet with 4-5 days but it didn't happen for reasons best known to him. Meanwhile, Several speculations kept doing rounds over the delay in cabinet expansion. Some of them include lack of auspicious days till Sankranthi, Model Code Of Conduct and Lok Sabha Polls.

TRS Leadership didn't bother to offer any clarification to the several theories doing rounds. KCR & Co seems to be focussing only on what needs to be done rather than any speculations. 6-8 MLAs will be taking part in the Swearing-in Ceremony soon after the Sankranthi Season. Next round of expansion happens post Lok Sabha Polls.
