Poonam Kaur Hitsback At BJP's Criticism Over Rahul Gandhi's Pic!

Update: 2022-10-31 09:55 GMT
Former Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo yatra' is going on at a good pace and Rahul is receiving good responses from the people. Irrespective of the state, the yatra is receiving a good response and we are seeing a new leader in Rahul Gandhi. The Congress party is hopeful that the yatra would help the party to revive itself.

But the yatra caught everyone's attention after Rahul Gandhi was spotted holding the hand of an actress. The Bharatiya Janata Party swung into action and started targeting Rahul Gandhi on the viral pic. The Congress also hit back at the saffron party for making such allegations.

Telugu actress Poonam Kaur whose hand Rahul Gandhi held in the viral pic reacted to the controversy and said that when she almost slipped Rahul Gandhi held her hand. Replying to the tweet made by BJP's Priti Gandhi, Poonam Kaur said what the BJP leader said in her tweet is demeaning.

Hitting back at the criticism made by the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party, Poonam Kaur said she was touched by the concern and respect Rahul Gandhi has for women and extended her support to Rahul Gandhi for hearing the issues faced by the Wayanad MP.

"His concern, respect and protective nature towards women is something which touched my heart. I with the weavers' team heartfully thank Rahul Gandhi ji for hearing the weavers' issues," Poonam Kaur said sharing the picture with Rahul Gandhi.

Not just the actress, the Congress party and Shiv Sena leaders also lashed out at the saffron party over the criticism of the picture and said people with RSS ideology cannot think beyond this and this is what they mean respect to women.

The opposition parties came under one roof to hit back at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for targeting Rahul Gandhi and the actress over the viral pic. The parties asked how low the saffron party can stoop to target the opponents.

The Bharat Jodo yatra was started to bring back the lost glory of Congress and gather support from various corners against the Bharatiya Janata Party. Political experts say that the yatra became more successful than expected.
