Prabhas is fighting the legal battle for 2,083 square yards of land he owned in Raydurg Panmaktha village of Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. He moved a petition seeking intervention of High Court in the property dispute.
In the petition, Prabhas mentioned: 'I purchased 2,083 square yards of land in Survey No. 5/3 from B Vaishnavi Reddy, Usha and B Shashank Reddy in 2005. Have been paying Property Tax and Electricity Bills regularly. There are temporary constructions in this property. Though there were no disputes, We paid Rs 1.05 crore for regularisation as a precautionary measure. All of a sudden, Revenue Officials had seized the property citing Supreme Court verdict. Actually, I wasn't party in the SC verdict. Revenue Officials have forced Me to vacate without even issuing any notice. High Court has to restrict the Officials who have been denying the rights I have as property owner'.
The petition moved by Prabhas will come up for hearing before High Court bench on Thursday.
