Update: 2022-02-27 12:04 GMT
Prakash Raj is known for voicing his concerns and emotions about social issues from time to time on social networking platforms like Twitter. He is in politics in Karnataka and he is working against BJP as well.

He always tries to raise questions against NDA government in Centre and recently got involved in Telangana politics as well. But the actor said that he doesn't want to involve too much into Telengana state politics as he is in awe of work accomplished by CM KCR's TRS Government in the state.

He fought in Movie Artists Association elections against Manchu Vishnu and lost. He even resigned for his membership in the association. Manchu Vishnu did not accept his resignation to the membership.

During those elections he grew close to Nagababu and is said to have support of Mega Family when Chiranjeevi himself said that he is away from elections and he will only vote as a member.

While campaigning Prakash Raj openly bashed Vishnu for his statements against Pawan Kalyan. Now, he has come forward to tweet against AP Government in support of Pawan Kalyan's Bheemlanayak.

Prakash Raj in his typical style tweeted,

"#BheemlaNayak .. #GovtofAndhrapradesh  please put an end to this onslaught..let cinema thrive #JustAsking "

He wrote in the attached note in Telugu that cinema Industry cannot survive this onslaught and AP Government should not resort to vengeance and harrasment politics that is harming an industry. He asked the government to tackle their differences with any individual on political battle ground than by targetting Cinema.
