It is a known fact that Actor-producer Prakash Raj follows politics very closely and he ended up contesting the elections too. However, he could not win the polls. Despite this, he has been responding to various political developments across the nation. Using social media as a platform, Prakas Raj gives his take on the issue.
The infamous killing incident of renowned journalist Gauri Lankesh turned him into a fierce critic of Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Over the years, he has been attacking and taking a dig at the Centre in every possible situation. Here comes one more situation.
The other day, the chief of BJP for Maharashtra state Chandrakant Patil had spoken highly about the Prime Minister to highlight how hard he has been working to serve the nation. The chief said Narendra Modi sleeps for just two hours and he is experimenting on how to work round the clock.
'PM Modi sleeps for only two hours and works for 22 hours every day. He is experimenting now so that he need not have to sleep. He works every minute for the country. Modi is trying to prevent sleep so that he can stay awake for 24 hours and work for the country. He doesn't waste a single minute," the Maharashtra BJP Chief said and his comments went viral all over including the social media.
The comments had caught the attention of Prakash Raj. Reacting to the comments in a satirical way, the Aakasamantha director said that not being able to sleep is insomnia and urged Chandrakant Patilâs leader(Modi) to get treated for it. He also said that the medical condition needs treatment not bragging.
'Please have some common sense⦠not able to sleep is a medical condition called INSOMNIA.. it should be treated .. not bragged about .. please take care of your leader #justasking,' Prakash Raj tweeted.
Recently, Prakash Raj was in the news for slamming The Kashmir Files film. He asked if it was healing the wounds or increasing hatred among the people. His comments on the film did not go well with many and he was trolled on the topic.
