After the defeat faced by YSR Congress in Nandyal By-Poll, Focus shifted to political strategist Prashant Kishor who kept guiding Main Opposition since few months. Ms YS Bharathi's close relative Divya Reddy & NRI Rajasekhar Reddy have been coordinating with Prashant Kishor's Team all these days. Recently, Reports of Mr. Prashant predicting a majority of Rs 6,000 votes for YCP went viral.
However, Prashant Kishor's Team clarified By-Elections are something they don't focus much as a lot depends on the sympathy wave and the result can't be a parameter for judging mood of the people all over the state. They have given an indication that Nandyal by-poll result could be in favour of the Ruling Party but that doesn't mean TDP can't be defeated in 2019 Polls. The major focus of PK is on 2019 General Elections.
In fact, Prashant Kishor sees a great opportunity for tie-up between YSRC & Jana Sena after Pawan Kalyan distanced himself from TDP in Nandyal by-election. He believes this could be the best combination to dethrone Chandrababu Naidu in the next polls.
