Former political strategist Prashant Kishor who worked for a few political parties for the elections had changed his path and decided to venture into politics. To increase his political mileage he preferred tried and tested model of padayatra so that he can meet the people and understand their problems directly.
Prashant Kishor started padayatra in his home state Bihar. His padayatra is titled Jan Suraaj Padayatra and Prashant Kishor covered a big milestone of 200 km and it is said that the famous personality is happy with the response his yatra received and the way the people welcomed him during the yatra.
Padayatra is not a small thing and it requires a lot of money to take care of various things related to the yatra. So usually everyone wonders how he is taking care of the expenses. He was asked a question about the expenses and he gave a surprising answer that stunned everyone.
Prashant Kishor said that he worked for a few clients and parties in the past ten years and did not take money from them and his former clients are giving him financial assistance and crowdfunding would be started encouraging people to make any contributions.
Six of his clients are serving as Chief Ministers now and the money they can give would be huge. For example, let us say the Chief Ministers gave Rs 100 crores each it would be 600 crores which is not a small thing. All the expenses can be covered and there would be leftover money too.
While the other clients ended their contracts after Prashant Kishor decided to not stay in the field anymore, only Jagan is reportedly continuing his contract. YS Sharmila once said she is backed by PK and the duo might give money to him.
So the comments made by Prashant Kishor started a new debate on whether the former clients are paying back to him for the valuable services he made. Prashant Kishor took all his clients to a landslide victory. Barring YCP, the clients defeated the saffron party in the concerned states. In West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and others BJP lost the polls.
