Preity Zinta filed molestation case against her Ex-Boyfriend & IPL Franchise Kings XI Punjab Co-Owner Ness Wadia on June 13th, 2014. She accused Mr.Wadia of molesting and abusing her at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 30th that year. A case under sections 354 (outraging modesty of woman), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (causing insult) of IPC was registered against him.
Three-and-a-half years later, The Marine Drive Police filed a charge sheet against Ness Wadia for alleged molestation and verbal abuse. A 200-page charge sheet has been submitted in the court on Tuesday. Ness Wadia who was present in the metropolitan magistrate court got bail on a personal surety of Rs 20,000.
Actually, Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia parted ways after being in a relationship for few years. They both acquired IPL Team Kings XI Punjab. On May 30th, 2014, Ness Wadia abused Franchise Staff upon seeing Preity Zinta being seated in Garware Pavilion. Though she shifted to an another seat, The Actress was abused by Ex-Lover again in the presence of Team Members. Preity alleges he got hold of her arm when she tried to leave the spot and this resulted in bruise-marks.
Gene Goodenough whom Preity married in 2016 was one of the witnesses in the case. Cricketers David Miller's Father was the other one.
