Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had a narrow escape in Dhaka as multiple bomb blasts took place in a busy commercial area just few minutes after her convoy left the spot.
Crude Bombs exploded in Karwan Bazar just 10 minutes after PM's comvoy passed through the area. This incident happened while the Prime Minister was on her way to participate in a rally organised by her party Awami League to mark the anniversary of historic public address by Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the year 1971.
