Businessman Robert Vadra who is the son-in-law of AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi was served a notice by Lok Sabha Secretariat seeking his explanation over the Facebook post against the NDA Government.
Robert Vadra's post on his Facebook page: "Parliament begins and so do their petty diversion political tactics... People of India are not fooled. Regret to see India Led by such so called leaders !!".
Soon after the monsoon session began, Congress & Other Opposition Parties demanded sacking of Union Ministers who were facing allegations of involvement in Lalit Modi issue and Vyapam scam. BJP ruled out such possibility and counter attacked citing Robert Vadra's controversial land deals in Congress-ruled Haryana and Rajasthan. It was then, Vadra placed the above post on his Facebook page.
In response, BJP Lawmakers moved a privilege motion against Robert Vadra accusing him of trying to tarnish the image of Parliament. Subsequently, A notice was served to the Businessman asking him to explain the context to it. Lok Sabha Speaker might refer the matter to the Privileges Committee based on the kind of reply from Mr.Vadra.
